Wind Song

Lift up your face to me;
Let me carry all your worries away.
Breath in deeply because of me;
Let me relax your body.
Close your eyes for me;
Let me ease your mind.
Let down your hair for me,
So I can gently blow through it.
Lift up your ears to me,
So you can hear my song.
Let my song refresh your spirit
And soar with me.
This is my wind song for you.

Passionate Dreams

When I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep,
I have a visitor who comes to me in my dreams.
He is handsome and kind and gentle, and most
of all, he is in love with me. He does all the right
things. We talk, walk on the beach, laugh together.
We do all the things that two people do when they
are in love. He makes me feel young, beautiful, and
most of all, special. When I wake up, I look around,
and he's not here. It was just a passionate dream. . . .
When I sleep, he faithfully comes to me in my dreams.
Again, I'm lost in his arms, his smile, and his love. I'm
totally in love with the man in my passionate dreams. . . .
If I can't bring him into my world, then I shall go into
his, in my passionate dreams. The perfect man with a
tender heart, sweet caresses, and gentle arms, who
comes to me in my passionate dreams . . .

Invisible

She wonders why he doesn't look at her or talk to her.
Has she done something to upset him?
No, to him she is just invisible.
Invisible . . . she cooks, cleans his house and
joyously takes care of his children. Still she is invisible.
Invisible . . . still in love. She is happy to do anything
A wife and mother must do. Still she is invisible.
Invisible . . . the more she does for love sake the more
she becomes invisible.
Invisible . . . intangible, out of sight, beyond visual range.
Oh, to be seen again. Not Invisible.
Invisible . . . he wonders why she doesn't look at him
or talk to him . . . Invisible . . . he is now invisible.

About Me

My photo
Bronx, New York, United States
I've been writing poetry for quite a few years. It helps me keep sane. It is a crazy world, things happen all the time and if you don't release the emotions built up inside you, you can go a little insane. I have three children, their names and ages are: Jenna 22, Candice 20, and Brandon 17. I have a cute little Nephew; Aaron who is now 6. I have a friend who loved my poetry and thought others would love to read it too. Needless to say he talked me into publishing it. Now I am having a blast in writing and getting them published.
